Please be advised that the popular Pokemon Go App has some risks for personal safety. Accordingly, the Community Safety Department is offering the York community some safety tips, if playing this game:

• Be aware of your surroundings.
• Be alert and mindful of traffic.
• Do not drive, ride or operate any machinery while monitoring the App.
• Be mindful of trespassing on private property or going into areas you are not familiar with.
• Consider playing with a friend or as a group.
• Be aware of the potential to be lured for robbery or other purposes.
