York University offers a number of services to help get you to and from the campus safely. We encourage everyone to please be aware of traffic around campus and travel with care.
Getting Around Campus Safely
goSAFE is an on-campus service providing paired escorts to help get you safely across campus in the evening. Our trained student staff will also wait with you until your shuttle/bus/ride arrives or until you have started your vehicle and are on your way.
The Campus Shuttles provide transportation to the off-campus housing area to the south of the Keele campus known as “The Village”. The shuttles run 7 days a week (every 20-30 mins).
The Keele-Glendon shuttle provides transportation between the Keele Campus and Glendon Campus.
The York University GO Train shuttle provides transportation between the York University GO Train Station and the Keele Campus.
York U ID needs to be shown. All shuttles are complimentary.
VanGo is a mobility service initiative, designed to assist students and staff with disabilities to get around campus. The service is operational from 8am to 10pm, Monday to Friday.
York University is well serviced by several GTA transit systems including Brampton Transit, GO Transit, Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) and York Region Transit (YRT/Viva).
